Enhanced Energy Announces the Appointment of Reid Grigg to Its Board of Directors
Midway, UT – October 16, 2013. Enhanced Energy announced today that Reid B. Grigg has been appointed to the Company’s Board of Directors. Reid will serve as a recognized industry expert to advise the Board regarding the Company’s enhanced oil recovery strategic focus and direction.
Reid has had a distinguished career in the oil and gas industry, and currently serves as the Senior Engineer and Section Head of the Gas Flooding Processes and Flow Heterogeneities Section at New Mexico Petroleum Recovery Research Center (PRRC), a division of the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in Socorro, New Mexico. Reid holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University (BYU) in Utah, a PhD in Physical Chemistry from BYU, and has done post-doctorate work in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta, Canada. Prior to joining PRRC, Reid served in a variety of positions, including Senior Research Scientist and Senior Research Chemist at Conoco, Inc. at their Production Research facility in Ponca City, Oklahoma.
Reid’s specialty is in the areas of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and carbon sequestration or storage, and he has authored or co-authored over one hundred publications in these and related areas over the past thirty years.
